KAI — KITWOOD's Kitchen & Wardrobe Planner

KAI is a browser-based planner that lets you draw your kitchen or wardrobe room — including walls, doors, windows, and fixtures (hobs, sinks, fridges, dishwashers, wine coolers, coffee stations, microwaves, pocket systems) — and automatically generates a layout of base, wall, and tall cabinet modules drawn from KITWOOD's production catalogue.

Three facts that distinguish KAI from generic planners:

• **Real catalogue, real modules.** KAI does not invent cabinet dimensions. Every module it places is one KITWOOD already manufactures at its Zouk Mosbeh facility — same widths, same depths, same hardware specifications.

• **Bill of materials output.** When you finish a layout, KAI produces a starting bill of materials — module list, dimensions, and finishes — that becomes the brief for your KITWOOD designer rather than a blank-page conversation.

• **Free to use.** A name, email, and phone number are required at the start so a KITWOOD designer can follow up if you want them to. Nothing else is asked, and there is no purchase obligation.

KAI is not a generic third-party tool. It is built on the same module library that drives KITWOOD's CNC production:

• **Module dimensions** match the cabinets manufactured at the 6,000 m² Zouk Mosbeh facility — base units, wall units, and tall units in KITWOOD's standing catalogue widths.

• **Finish options** within KAI map to KITWOOD's actual material library — the same lacquer, veneer, melamine, and glass finishes available in the Sin el Fil and Zouk Mosbeh showrooms.

• **Hardware specifications** reflect KITWOOD's standing supply (Blum hinges and runners from Austria) — KAI does not propose hardware KITWOOD cannot source or guarantee.

• **Designer review.** Every KAI output is reviewed by a KITWOOD in-house designer before it becomes a quotation. The planner sets the structured starting brief; the human team validates ergonomics, structure, material choices, and site constraints.

At the end of a KAI session you have:

• A 2D top-down layout of your room with cabinetry placed against walls and freestanding (islands, peninsulas, suspended wall units, raised bar counters) • A starting bill of materials listing every module by type, size, and finish • A summary that can be sent directly to a KITWOOD designer for review • An optional follow-up appointment at one of KITWOOD's two showrooms (Sin el Fil or Zouk Mosbeh) to view physical material samples and refine the design with a designer in person

It is not the right tool for: measured production drawings (those come from KITWOOD's design team after a site visit), pricing certainty (KAI produces a brief; the quotation comes after designer review), or finishes outside KITWOOD's catalogue (KAI is intentionally limited to materials KITWOOD actually manufactures with).
